I love shopping, but shopping for my baby takes my love to a whole new level. I no longer have to worry about size and fit, or if the outfit will look as cute on me as it does on the model, because now I have the perfect model. Like all moms I would think a paper bag is adorable on my child, and I’m not even going to lie about it. When I was pregnant I searched to find a well rounded list of trendy, classic and cute baby girl brands, but I was never satisfied with my finds. I found myself spending what felt like hours reading through hundreds of blogs. There were plenty of lists, but I needed visuals. Too many times I have clicked through to a brand that wasn’t even close to my style. In the past year I’ve created quite the list of baby girl brands I love. No matter what your style preference is I promise you can find something you will love from the list below. From pajamas to birthday gowns I’ve found it all. Along with this list you will also find some visuals to give you a better idea of the brands style. A number of department stores and infamous baby brands didn’t make my list, but that’s not to say I don’t love them too. I’m just focusing on some of the hidden gems in the sometimes overwhelming baby market.
This brand offers a premium selection of organic cottons. From classic kimono sets to adorable dresses and bloomers you are sure to find an outfit here that is both trendy and comfortable. Quincy Mae offers a great selection of everyday basics that can dress your baby from their newborn stage all the way to toddler years. If comfort is your priority look no further.
Sweet Honey Clothing offers an adorable selection of everyday sets and dresses for your little cutie. I quickly fell in love with this brand. The designs and prints here scream girly girl, and the outfits don’t sacrifice comfort for style. This is another great brand that can dress your little through all stages.
If ruffles are you thing Haute Baby will be a favorite of yours. Personally, I love being able to have the outfit, the blanket, and hair accessories to match when it comes to dressing Mia, and Haute Baby knows how to deliver. It’s a dressier take on everyday style that works well to clothe babes of all ages.
The first outfit I purchased for Mia was from Jamie Kay. I love a stylish bubble with some tights underneath, and a cute hat. Jamie Kay has it all. Your little girl will be sure to be up to date on all the fashion trends in an outfit from this brand.
A similar look to Haute Baby, Frilly Frocks offers a limited selection of outfits full of ruffles and frills that deliver a classic girly girl look. I have dressed Mia in Frilly Frocks for family photos and special occasions. I have never been disappointed when it comes to this brand.
If classic and timeless is your style put a star by this baby brand. Bailey Boys offers heirloom classics fit for your little prince or princess. This summer I purchased a few bubbles and two piece sets from Bailey Boys, and I loved them! All of the pieces that I purchased for Mia were lined, and great quality. I found this brand runs a little big, so you might consider sizing down when purchasing.
Caden Lane offers great newborn essentials. You’ll find the knotted gown is very convenient during those mid night wakings, and the swaddles are the perfect size for those of us that may not be swaddle experts just yet. Not to mention you can personalize your swaddle blankets which make for a great keepsake. Mia’s aunt Erika gifted her a personalized swaddle, and we loved it! This is a great brand for the newborn stage.
Great for babies moving out of the newborn stage. Next Direct offers a wide variety of affordable and trendy clothing options that can suit anyones style. I love dressing Mia in stylish outfits, but I don’t like paying the hefty prices that come along with it. Next Direct allows me to dress Mia in outfits that I love without breaking the bank. This brand has a lot of layering options, and I think the style here is very fun.
Magnolia Baby offers a great selection of pima cotton. I loved dressing Mia in Magnolia Baby while she was in her newborn stage. This is another great brand that provides all the coordinating accessories you need to complete your little ones outfit. We’ve since moved out of gowns, but the two piece pajama sets are still some of our nighttime favorites.
Another great brand for newborn essentials. Posh Peanut offers high quality bamboo cotton gowns, footies and blankets. The pieces here will feel so soft on your babies skin all while keeping them cozy and warm.
Bailey’s Blossoms is yet another great brand that offers stylish yet affordable options for your little girl. If you’ve been searching for a brand that gives you all the Instagram baby model vibes this is it.
I have been shopping at H&M long before I had my daughter. It’s a great place to find affordable clothing pieces for you and your kids. I’m sharing my style board from the H&M Kids Sale I posted a couple weeks ago. I love a good edgy look and this board gives me all those feels. I have noticed that sizing tends to run a little big, so I recommend sizing down for your littles.
Janie and Jack offers great classic style that is effortlessly timeless. You can find an outfit here for your babes first day of school, or your weekend trip to the horse track. If you shop sales like I do, search out their outlet stores. I can always find great deals at their outlet location in Pigeon Forge, TN.
I’m a big fan of the Edgehill Collection available at Dillard’s. If you’re looking for a classic “coming home outfit” I highly recommend checking out this brand. You can find a variety of knit dress sets that are the perfect combination of feminine and comfy.
I’m going to be one hundred percent honest with you, Maisonette is not budget friendly. If I’m shopping this brand I typically try to buy seasons ahead to save some $$$, or stick with special occasion pieces I don’t mind to splurge on. If you can gage what size your baby will be at a later time you can catch some really good sales. They also offer a great variety of some of the cutest accessories that are fairly reasonably priced.
One of my all time favorite brands, Mud-Pie offers adorable kids clothing for all ages. If you love fun colors and prints check out this site. Not only do they offer super cute everyday outfits, they also have a great selection of seasonal clothing. We’re celebrating our first holidays with Mia, and I always love getting her photo in a festive outfit for her baby book. With holiday season coming up you better bet she will be clothed in Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas outfits from October to December.
I brought Mia home in an outfit by Paz Rodriguez. I had searched for what felt like months for the perfect outfit to bring her home in. I knew I wanted something that was dressy and feminine, but also soft on my newborns skin. Oh, and warm because she was a winter baby. When I found this brand I knew it was the one. I am the type of person that doesn’t mind to splurge on something that has some meaning attached to it. If you’re looking for a classic and feminine outfit to bring your little home in, don’t skip this brand.
A collection of pima cotton that will make your baby so cuddly you won’t want to put them down. This brand gives pajamas and everyday outfits a luxury feel for affordable prices. From gowns and footies, to bubbles and two piece sets you can supply all your cotton needs with this dreamy brand.
I had to throw in one of my favorite headband brands. The itty bitty knot was the perfect fit for my little bitty newborn. With all the fun headband prints you could style an outfit just around your babies headband.
I saved one of my favorites for last. From the prints to the colors, Angel Dear screams kids. I had a couple footies and jumpers from this brand, and I was honestly sad when Mia outgrew them. Everything I have purchased from Angel Dear has been so soft, and so cute. I just can’t brag enough on this brand.
So, there you have it. I tried to limit my list to brands I truly love, and wasn’t too familiar with before having Mia. Of course, there are a number of brands and stores I regularly shop at that I did not mention here (Carter’s Oshkosh, etc.). My list is continuing to grow as I adopt more and more brands I love. I will keep you all updated on more of my baby girl finds along the way.
